Contemporary Artist.
Painting.
It is through the interplay of color and form that meaning is unearthed, revealing truths of forever unfolding events in our memory and consciousness. Drawing from the visual language of surrealism, these compositions refer to a dream-like quality that transcends the familiarity of our physical world and leads us to wander beyond this realm.
Brandon employs light, textures, form, and oil as narrative membrane to arrive at his envisioned allegory.
Considering here the word ‘miracle’ … the moment in which an other world intersects with our own.
In these series from The Persistence of Light in Echoing Hallows, spheres, landscapes and portals become working parts of a greater functioning organism inherent within these works. Drifting across a self-mythicized ecosystem of narratives. These visual tales shape a constellation of works mending time, memory, and threads of storytelling.
